About This Draft
The Great Gyre has carried Pelagis for four hundred years. The ocean speaks through currents, temperature, bioluminescent light — and Tide-Speakers translate. But the voice is fading. Dead zones appear where the water goes flat and grey.
Sael hears the dissonance first. A wrong note in the Gyre's ancient song. The instruments show nothing. The Council files the reading. And beneath the silence, something enormous is changing.
