Arcanea is not just a chat interface — it is a creative framework. The companions are domain-specialized creative partners, but they are one layer of a six-layer ecosystem that also includes world-building tools, a social feed, an open-source foundation, a learning Academy, and a community of co-creators.

The Seven Wisdoms are practical mental models for creative work: Sophron (Structure), Kardia (Heart), Valora (Courage), Eudaira (Play), Orakis (Vision), Poiesis (Creation), and Enduran (Endurance). Every companion applies these lenses when approaching your work, giving you proven frameworks for any creative challenge.

Specialized companions are organized across five teams: Orchestrator, Development, Creative, Writing, and Research. Each has a distinct philosophy, expertise, and conversational style. You can explore them all on the Companions page.

It depends on your creative challenge. Need to architect a system? Start with System Architect. Writing a story? Try Narrative Architect. Need research? Deep Analyst or Knowledge Keeper. You can also chat with multiple companions and let them collaborate on complex projects.

Yes. One of Arcanea's most powerful features is multi-companion collaboration. You can bring in different domain experts for different aspects of a project, or have them review and enhance each other's work. The system is designed for this kind of creative collaboration.

Companions work from the context you give them in a conversation and the world material you save. They do not silently retrain on your work.

Arcanea is built on a modern stack: Next.js 16 for the frontend, TypeScript throughout, Supabase for data, and Vercel AI SDK for model access.

Data travels over HTTPS and is stored with Supabase. We do not use your conversations to train models, your creative work remains yours, and the Privacy page describes how to delete it.

The Developers page documents what is available today, including the MCP server for coding agents.

The open-source packages and the MCP server run locally. There is no managed private deployment offering.
